pandora pb-K

overview

The Pandora PB-K takes the Pandora PB-3 blueprint and reduces the overall size, allowing fitment on the popular concealed carry and slimline options on the market. Keeping native compatibility with the ACRO® P2 footprint, the PB-K includes a RMSc Ghost Adapter Plate for seamless fitment on micro carry slides, while maintaining fitment for ACRO® and MOS (with our MOS GAP sold separately) allowing a broad range of compatible hosts. Staying true to the PB-3’s DNA, the PB-K maintains a rugged 7075-T6 aluminum housing and a completely enclosed emitter, keeping your optic free from debris, weather, and anything else that finds it’s way into your waistband.

The PB-K was designed with a standoff around the objective lens for one-handed pistol slide manipulation. Similarly, the ocular lens has an offset to protect glass during pistol/rifle retraction through barriers. Designed with a dorsal brightness adjustment for ambidextrous users and sealing plates affixing the lenses into the housing for added glass security under impact and recoil vectors. The PB-3 is IPX8 rated for 90 minutes of submersion at a depth of 10m.

aurawake

AuraWake™ is CORD's patented, reliable utilization of shake-to-wake technology. Competitor shake-to-wake optics will auto shut-off after a set number of hours to conserve runtime, and a motion sensor reactivates the reticle once movement is detected. However, motion sensors may exhibit unreliability if damaged during impact, fostering a subsequent equipment failure upon weapon deployment.

To prevent catastrophic aiming system failure, CORD Instruments is proud to implement AuraWake™, a new partial shake-to-wake system that ties the motion sensor only to the circuit of the 32-MOA ring.

Following 5 minutes of non use, the PB-K’s outer CQB ring will “sleep,” yet maintain the 3-MOA dot on at all times. This provides a constant, action-ready aiming reference that cannot be interfered with upon motion sensor failure, while significantly increasing runtime.
